Does anyone trade like this? 4/19/2008

I do not know if I should try to trade this idea or not. It seems to me so many times a company comes out with an earnings report the street is not happy with. The stocks trades down a couple of percent and then soon after the open, the stock turns positive and runs. SLB did it on Friday and NUE did it on Thursday.

Does this makes sense on a large cap stock to put a buy order out there when the stock hit even and cancel it if it is not hit by 9:45 or 10:00? Comments?

Nice blog. Thanks for your work on it.

I've recently created a completely free forex website which hopefilly will be of use to you.

The purpose of this site is to show you how the forex market reacted in the minutes and hours after news was released. Patterns have emerged. For instance, if the USD Non Farm Payroll number is significantly better than expected, the USD will initally gain against the GBP and Euro in the minutes after the number is released, and then lose value shortly there after.
