The big mouth stock and my trading were both boring.-

The big mouth stock was a winner but very messy. I was able to take a peek at the market in the afternoon and made one fast trade. It would be great if easy time I looked at the market for 5 minutes - I would make a $100.
This is beyond stupid. I bought a stock. Double up on it on the next up tick. Thought I sold it but doubled up again. I forgot about it thinking I was flat. Checked on it in the last hour of trading and saw another setup and bought more stock still not knowing I was really long from before. Finally dawns on me, I am way too long this stock. In a panic to sell, I buy 300 more shares. Finally I get out down only $59. At one point, I was down over $600 without knowing it and if I held on to the end of the day, I would have been down close to $3000. Talk about lucky - talk about being stupid. I am frustrated with the way I need to enter my web based IB orders and I paid a price for that today. Insane.
Above was the big mouth stock of the day and I traded it poorly. I also did something I can't remember ever doing before. I traded a little around the open and then right after lunch. I logged into my account near the close to find I was long some stock - WTF? I forgot to cancel my stop loss orders on my earlier trades and they got filled. Thank god no major damage was done and one nearly ended up as a good trade but still dumb - so very dumb.
Both of these were crap. It is hard to play Big Mouth Stocks that are really big cap stocks unless something like NUE is up 4% because of the big mouth and all the other steel stocks are down. Since the first of the Month, the big mouth stocks have sucked big time.
The two charts are the big mouth stocks from today. The second chart sucked and was a low volume entry that did not work. I first one I wanted to cry. Usually Big Mouth stocks that pop in after hours but open lower the next day make for the best big mouth trades. I could not really watch the open but I thought what the hell and put in an order to sell NVDA at 15 even above 10 minutes before the open. I checked about 10 minutes after the open and found I missed a great trade by 2 cents. The open was 14.96 and the high tick was 14.98 - damn. By the time I looked at it, I thought the opportunity was gone. It turned into a big winner with out me.
