I will be on vacation April 1st thru April 14th. On vacation, I may have Internet access and trade - who knows but I doubt if I will post to blog.

The Good The Bad and The Ugly 3/31/2009

The good was AMZN. Broke a level and ran and I had 500 shares on and took my 25 cents. Really wanted 30 but what the hell. The Bad was BK. Another text book in at the top - out at the bottom stupid trade. The Ugly was IBOC (good Big Mouth Stock) . You may say why would a call a profitable trade ugly? because it was going to be a great trade but I f-ed up the execution.

As I stated in the comment section a few days back, the big mouth stocks have been hard to play recently. As some as I said that, three of five where great plays and the other two using other big mouth rules I have talked about here before, could have generated good profits.

Today sucked. I spent 6 hours on the phone with my mother (not mentally there anymore), Medicare, Social Security Office, Blue cross Blue shield, a drug store and a drug company all to get to the problem of Medicare Part D problem.

Wednesday Trade Review 3/25/2009

First two charts are Big Mouth stocks. The second is MMM. I tried shorting it and got suddenly hammered. The three chart is of X. The EURO got all excited to the upside and the commodity plays followed. I got onto X quickly and then did a bonehead move by entering a market order when I was trying to place my stop. Funny City.

At least I earned back that big dollar I lost on Monday.

A goofy day for me. The one big heart break was my BX trade above. I picked a bottom perfectly. I am of the point regardless of the trade to add 10 cents to my stops and see what happens. The rest of the day was made up of mini-scalps. The two big mouth stocks failed to produce anything.

Fleetwood Mac performs Chain

I am an old fart. I go to the Fleetwood Mac concert Thursday whcih was totally assume and my whole rotine of blogging and following the markets is all messed up. I will try to catch up this weekend.

The concert was great. The wife and I had ticket about 12 rows off the left side of the stage. This video was Fleetwoods previous tour but the stage and the band members and setup were the same Thursday. It was a great evening.

Very frustrating to say. I pissed around too much with PRU and the insurers. The charts above show 5 of my trades. I lacked even more guts today for some reason. In the afternoon, I was trading from a different place and had a very slow connection. This just killed my ability to trade. So many opportunities and nothing to show for it. Why do I even try?

Tuesday Trade Review 3/10/2009

Above is the Big Mouth Stock for the day - nothing there. I traded like a mad man today and traded poorly. I just could not stay in my trades today. My longest trade was like 3 minutes. I made 9 trades today and 8 or them if I just held for 3 minutes more on each of them, I would have done very well today. The last one I needed to hold about 15 minutes to do well.

I tried figuring out what was different today. The best I can come up with was a lot of stocks would go 20 cents in my favor then drop 20 cents before marching on. The trades I made, I was not use to the back and forth action on a day that made such a gain.

Euro Signal Change 3/10/2009

We are getting close to a signal change in the EUR/USD if we can hold above 1.2750. Start planning your buys. Once the signal is generate my plan is to buy a small lot and add on a pullback. If we get that pull back and do not get stopped, I will add again on a break out to a new high for the move. At that point , I would have a full position on.

I had too many frustrations to deal with. Poring rain, cars not parked right, problems with chat room, IB changing monthly statement and other people in my life just being plain dumb. Made a trade and got out on an interruption way before I should have. Second trade while being in a hurry, I shorted instead of going long. At that point I realized, this day was not meant for me to trade. Sorry - no charts.

I feel like I am going nuts. Since the first of the year, I have felt more blue than usual. Do not understand why. I have been having problems with my Blood Pressure since mid October. The funny thing is that is when my toilet exploded. Now my moods have turned crazy. I am either in a kick your ass, king of the world mood or my dog just died and they took back my pick up car type of depression. The moods are swinging nearly in 48 hour cycles. Really strange for me. It is really freaking my wife out too. Too often she just says I look super sad and then a couple hours later I am like a little puppy licking her all over the place.

I feel like am losing my mind and I have no clue. I am getting enough sleep. I am eating okay. Exercising enough. I just do not know. I do know something is wrong because most days I can't wait to trade and now I am having more days where I just do not give a flying f....about it.

I did find a new way to end a trading session early - have a power failure.

Monday Trade Review 3/2/2009

This is just so fucking depressing. At least I was keeping my head above water day trading and now that seems to be a problem. My swing trading in my IRA accounts is just plain wrong and I would be losing less money if I just burned it.
