Above are the details of my insane day playing the big mouth stock of the day. A course the other big mouth AEM, would have been super easy but I did not look at it. The rest of my trading day was nothing to talk about.
If I remember the saying "you should learn from your mistakes" or "don't do the same mistake twice" or "you are a f... idiot" - some thing like that. While I made the same mistake in the YM I did yesterday. The YM futures stalled at my buy point and just hang there long enough to convince me that the trade was no good. A course seconds later it turned out to be a good trade, possible great trade with out me. The rest of my trades were garbage.
Never really got with the market today. Made a couple of trades and a couple of bucks. I should have held on to my YM trade longer instead of giving up on it. See chart.
These 3 stocks are the big mouth stocks for Tuesday. If you tried shorting on or near the open, it would not have been a pretty site today. A method I do not write about often but comes in handy if used, is to buy the big mouth stocks if theybreak their HOD say after 10 am. I try to short the stock in premarket, on the open or any pop with in 10 minutes of the open. After that I give up on the short side, but if the stock does not want to go down then it must want to go up.
Finally I traded one of the big mouth stocks the way I know how and how I had done it in the past. I shorted 1000 on the 8 am open of many brokers premarket and got some nice fills. My goal as long at I did not take any heat to sit on the position thru the entire premarket session. And I did. 
Qcom was my pain in the ass stock today. I could have traded so much better. Made a little money on COP. I could have done better there trading it in waves. I missed a little in WFC and I did make some off the Big Mouth stock below. Again I could have traded that a lot better. In other words, if you have not figured it out by now, I could have traded a lot better today.
Another great Big Mouth stock but I managed to get little out of it. A big rookie mistake. I allowed someone to bother me at the open.
Yesterday it was BK, today it was CAT. The CAT trade came so close and I freaked at the last second on it. It could have been a big home run. I am trying something different. If I see a trade and I do not have enough time to do my limit order, my default order is now a market order. Plus I am not going to screw around with share size. My orders will be in pieces of 500 a pop which is my default size.
Damn - I was stupid not to even take one look at this one today.
I saw the turn around of the banks early in the day and thought that was the place to be. I traded BK a couple of times and it should have been more. I was the perfect stock to keep adding and peeling all day long.
Here is a chart of my first trade being back from vacation. I am sick and spent more time sleeping than anything else. I did watch the market and traded a little here and there to get my feet wet again. Being this sick, I think I should have just stayed in bed.
Another Big Mouth Gem above. I only took a $100 out of it when I should have taken $300. The stock is low volume and a little hard to play.
