A daytrader trying to make a "days wage".
I hate this. I really hate this where the trade takes too long to work. I got in at an okay place. Maybe I should have shorted from 51.10 instead. I held for a while and got out. Could have been one hell of a trade if I followed it.

Above are the Big Mouth stocks for Monday. JAH was big money. AGN - you could have made money if you held through the opening mess. NFG really did not work and it had little volume.
This was my best trade in a while and my biggest mistake. The Big Mouth said to buy SUN - an energy play. The stars aligned so beautifully. This and HK were about the only energy stocks up big. Crude was down and the market looked to open down.
The first chart is the big mouth stock of the day. I chased it in premarket but could not get filled even with being the low ASK a couple of times. The second chart was my only trade of the day and it worked out nice. I bought - put in a stop and got myself some coffee. Came back and saw it having problems with 66.50 and sold half. Moved my stop up and set my timer to 10 minutes. Timers rang and before I could sell the stock hit my stop. Such an easy trade.
Both are big mouth stocks above. One worked as a buy reverse and the other had little volume or movement.
The two charts above are Big Mouth Stocks - one good - one nothing. I looked at them and tried to play CYN for a few second. I notice the volume just was not there. I did not even look at TEVA because of the small pop. How stupid was that?

The three above are the Big Mouth Stocks - BMS.
The last chart is my only other trade. I had problems with TS and IB again today but not bad enough to freak me out. I know of others who had problems too.
This is a prime example of why I suck as a YM trader. Instead of selling the market when I got my signal, I waited until the market hit a new low of the day where I picked the low of the day to go short. Then I allowed my stopped to be hit instead of stopping and reversing on the next signal. If I followed the plan, the trade would have been successful but I didn't and I took a loss.
Above is not a Big Mouth Trade. I do make them. I bought HTHT on the idea it would break out of its one day IPO trade. I bought my first lot after it broke out of its first 15 minute range then again after it went above 14.50 - Fridays high. I let it ride for a good long time but knew I could not watch the market in the afternoon and I sold.
Wednesday Big Mouth Stock
It has been a crazy week for me. My other half got home from visiting her mother Monday Night. I had lots of things to catch up with her about. Had a company function Thursday night and the NCAA basketball stuff.
It is interesting how life works at times and painfully. I really was pissed at my self where I did not take advantage of the Big Mouth Stocks while day after day they were great plays. On Friday, I had a chance to look at the market because of a freak schedule change. If the Big Mouth Stock showed any action, I was going not to be afraid. I was going to hit it and hit it hard. I did not know if was going to hit back.
Another great Big Mouth Stock and again I could not be a part of it. The last 9 - read it 9 Big Mouth Stocks, you could have sold on the open tick and feel very little pain. This has been during a time that I have been so busy in my life, I feel like I have barely watched the market. I want to cry - no I want to scream.
I briefly tried shorting the above Big Mouth Stock and failed to get fill. The bid ask collapsed minutes before the open and did not pop. I am really tired. Maybe because of Daylight savings or the rain/flooding here or just that I got home late on Saturday from having a nice dinner with my daughter. I barely traded today.
I hate this when it happens. I really hate this when it happens. I was debating with myself if I should use a $200 stop or a $300 stop or add to the position and use a $500 stop. The stock DWA did not have the volume I was expecting and last night was Oscar night so being short a movie stock was very stupid - right? I bailed just cents below the high only to watch stop and fall. I shorted again on a break of 42.70 and got slipped 5 cents. I bailed on the next bounce too for a small profit only to watch it melt for most of the rest of the day.
